What it offers
Five things OPĒS does, every time you ask.
Questions on HACCP, contaminants, additives, allergens and regulations — with answers contextualized to your market.
Public, citable sources only: the competent authority and framework law of 252 countries, for 240 of them also which act applies and where to read it, with the provenance of the source established, EU food law with its EUR-Lex reference, FDA, CFIA, FSA, FSANZ, MHLW and the Codex Alimentarius.
Every answer with source and reliability level stated — never a "naked" regulatory figure.
Bring it into your systems via API, for third-party products and flows.
Designed to operate across multiple markets and languages.
How it works
Tell OPĒS which country or countries you are working for. Every answer is read through that lens.
No forms, no codes to look up. Write the question as you would ask a colleague, in your own language.
The answer arrives together with the act it relies on and the reliability level declared for that source.
The source is cited so you can open it. OPĒS informs you; the decision stays with you or with your consultant.
Every answer, the same way
A regulatory figure without a source is worthless. OPĒS never gives one.
The knowledge behind it
OPĒS reads only public regulatory knowledge — laws, regulations and official guidance, never your company's data. On private certification schemes it does not reproduce the text: it tells you which public rule governs the requirement.
Measured on August 27, 2026 by counting the rows of the production knowledge base — the same tables the product queries when it answers a question — not a summary document. «Provenance established» is to be taken literally: an automatic procedure checked that the act exists and that the source is the official one; nobody has read the content. It is the same distinction the assistant states with every answer alongside its reliability level. When coverage grows, this number grows by itself; when it stands still, it stands still.
How it is built
No HACCP plans, no suppliers, no recipes, no analysis results. OPĒS answers on regulation: it has no need to know your company.
The knowledge base is built from official, public regulatory sources — not from other users' questions.
The model that answers runs on infrastructure operated by the publisher. There is no external model provider in the chain.
